“Cashless” is a contactless payment system. It will facilitate your purchasing during the festival. With your cashless wristband (which you’ll get on entry), you will be able to buy food, drink and merchandise at the festival. Cashless payments are now recognised as the global best practice at festivals around the world. They make YOUR festival experience easier, faster and safer. Your funds are attached to you at all times during the festival on your wristband and this makes for a hassle-free day.

You can even purchase a prepaid top-up voucher in advance of the festival and take advantage of our
free credit offers (listed below) and faster queues at the event. Vouchers are available to purchase now - click the button below to buy.

  • HOW TO BUY DRINKS/FOOD/MERCH AT SPIKE ISLAND: THE RESURRECTION

    1) Buy a prepaid top-up voucher in advance of the event (click the button below).
    2) On entry to the event, you’ll be issued with your cashless wristband, once your entry ticket has been scanned
    3) Head to our Voucher Exchange point and get your wristband credited with your prepaid voucher
    4) Head to the bar – get the drinks in!
    5) Ran out of credit? Don’t worry – simply top up with a credit/debit card at one of our Top-Up stations
    6) After the event - keep your wristband, including the chip, to refund anything that you’ve not spent.

  • PURCHASE A TOP-UP VOUCHER BEFORE THE EVENT – GET FREE BAR CREDIT & FASTER QUEUE!

    Get a free bar credit when you purchase a prepaid top-up voucher of either £50/£100/£150! This offer is not available for top-ups on the day of the event; it is only available on vouchers bought in advance via above. By buying your Prepaid Top-Up Voucher in advance you also will have your own separate area to redeem your voucher, for a faster queue!

  • HOW DO I PAY FOR THINGS ON SITE?

    Our Cashless Wristbands are the only payment method accepted across the entire festival site – including at bars, food and merchandise stalls. Upon entry, everyone will be given a wristband which contains a contactless RFID chip. To pay, you simply touch this chip onto the terminal presented to you by our staff. After each transaction, the amount remaining on your wristband will be communicated to you.

  • HOW DO I GET MY WRISTBAND?

    Your cashless wristband will be provided to you on entry to the site, during the ticket checking process. If you have purchased a VIP or Toilet Upgrade ticket, you’ll also receive a separate wristband for access into these areas.

  • WILL MY WRISTBAND COST ME?

    Your wristband will be activated for free, there is no charge to you.

  • HOW CAN I PUT MONEY ON TO MY WRISTBAND?

    1) PURCHASE A PREPAID TOP-UP VOUCHER BEFORE THE EVENT
    You can purchase a prepaid top-up voucher before the event via this link. Doing this will not only save you time on the day (faster queues at voucher redemption) – but you can also take advantage of our Free Credit offers (T&C’s apply, see faq below)

    2) VISIT TOP-UP STATIONS ON SITE
    We will have a number of top-up stations across the festival site, where you can put money onto your wristband by using your credit/debit card. Simply attend one of the stations, tell our staff how much you want to load onto your wristband, and complete the purchase using your credit/debit card.

    Once your cashless wristband is topped-up, you can start using it straight away.

  • CAN I ADD MONEY TO MY WRISTBAND WHEN I ENTER THE FESTIVAL?

    Yes, you can. We’ll have a number of Top-Up stations where you can use a credit/debit card to add money to your cashless wristband. However, we strongly advise you to purchase a Prepaid Top-Up Voucher in advance of the festival – as these queues will be much faster.

  • IF I RUN OUT OF MONEY ON MY WRISTBAND, CAN I ADD MORE?

    Yes. Simply visit a top-up station on site & you can add additional funds using your credit/debit card. Please note that there is a minimum top-up of £5.00.

  • HOW DOES THE FREE BAR CREDIT OFFER WORK?

    If you purchase a either a £50, £100 or £150 prepaid top-up voucher – we’ll give you free bar credit. £50 = £5 free, £100 = £10 free, £150 = £15 free. Your free credit will automatically be applied after you have used your paid credit. You are only able to use your free bar credit at the bars in the main arena and the main VIP bar. This offer is not available for any top-ups on the day.

  • I DON’T WANT TO USE A CASHLESS WRISTBAND, CAN I PAY CASH/CARD?

    No. Due to COVID-19 safe measures and to reduce queues at our bars, our staff will only be accepting payment using your cashless wristband. No card or cash payments will be accepted at any outlets on site (bars, food, merch stalls). The only way to make purchases on site will be to use your cashless wristband.

  • I LOST MY WRISTBAND! WHAT DO I DO?

    Your wristband should remain securely fastened to your wrist. There shouldn’t be any reason for you to remove it, until the event has ended. You should treat your wristband as you would cash or your bank card. If you lose it, we are unable to recover any balance.

  • WHAT IF MY WRISTBAND BREAKS?

    From our experience, it’s very very rare for one of the wristbands to fail. However, if it does happen – don’t worry – our team will be able to swap it for you. Any balance on your broken wristband will be transferred to your new one.

  • CAN I GET A REFUND ON ANY MONEY THAT I’VE NOT SPENT?

    Yes – but only after the event has ended. If you have a remaining balance after the event, you will be able to apply for a refund via our website after the event. You will need your wristband, as you will need to enter the unique serial number printed on it to process your refund. Our refund portal will be open from midday on Monday 26th July and will close at midday on Saturday 7th August. We will not be able to issue any refunds during the event itself.

  • CAN I REMOVE MY WRISTBAND?

    You should not remove your wristband whilst you are at the event. You should only remove your wristband when you have left the event. You will need the unique serial number on your wristband in order to claim a refund after the event, if you need to. If you do remove your wristband, and subsequently lose it, we are not responsible for any balance.

  • CAN I CHOOSE TO PAY CASH/CARD AT THE BAR?

    No. Due to COVID-19 safe measures and to reduce queues at our bars, our staff will only be accepting payment using your cashless wristband. No card or cash payments will be accepted at any outlets on site (bars, food, merch stalls). The only way to make purchases on site will be to use your cashless wristband.

  • IS THERE AN ATM ON SITE?

    There are no ATM’s on site, because the event is entirely cashless. Purchases can only be made using your contactless wristband. You can top-up your wristband on-site using a credit/debit card at one of our Top-Up stations.

  • WHAT ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS?

    • Free credit is only available with the advance purchase of a prepaid top-up voucher, with a minimum spend of £50.
    • Paid credit must be spent before free credit will be activated.
    • Free credit is not refundable
    • Every wristband will be activated for free.
    • Every customer is entitled to a refund after the event for any credit which isn’t spent on the day. The refund portal will open on Monday 26th July at midday, and will be accessible via our website and social media pages.
    • Every refund will be processed for free.
    • You must request a refund during the time that the refund portal is open.
    • The refund portal will open at 12:00 (midday) on Monday 26th July and close at 12:00 (midday) on Saturday 7th August.
    • All refunds must be applied for by 12:00 (midday) on Saturday 7th August 2021. We will not be able to refund any amounts after this time.
    • Any unclaimed prepaid top-up vouchers may also be refunded within the time window that the refund portal is open.
